URGENT NEED
Berry Hill
extremely bad upper respiratory
URGENT NEED
Update:  June 7, 2006
Little Berry Hill has been on antibiotcs
for kennel cough for three weeks and
still has a nasal discharge and is
having trouble breathing.  He came
from a shelter that we know had
distemper so we have to try to save him
by sending him to the vet that
specializes in distemper.

This is just about his only chance.  We
need to take him in Thursday
afternoon.  Help!

UPDATE JULY 1 2006

This little boy is one of the
lucky ones.  Little Berry Hill
has recovered completely
after Dr. Ward's treatment.
He will remain in a foster
home for several weeks to
ensure his health.
Date:  5-17-2006

This sweetie looks like the brother of
one we rescued several months ago.
He, too, was heading for "no future" at
a DFW area shelter when we picked
him up.  He caught an upper
respiratory at the shelter.

He was picked up on 5-17 and is now
at our vet in isolation.  He is being
treated with antibiotics right now and
will be in isolation for another around
three weeks.

Our adoption fees only cover the very
basic vetting - shots, neuter/spay,
dental, microchip so when we run into
these babies that need extraordinary
treatment, we are completely
dependent on specific donations from
the public - YOU!!
