Shih Tzu Rescue Lhasa Apso Adopt

This cutie is Bei-jing. He came to us
from a north Houston shelter with
heartworms. He's longing for a forever
home, but before we can find him a
home, he has to be treated with
immiticide and kept quite for 4-6 weeks.
Heartworm disease is totally
preventable with a small pill each
month, but because this pups owner
didn't care, we have to inject poison into
him to kill these worms.

The treatment is risky - but he cannot
find a home without it.

removed from a 9 pound dog that died
during treatment with another rescue.
