BENJAMIN-I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
My name is Benjamin and I am SO VERY HAPPY to be a Lone Star dog! I was very ill, underweight and in very bad shape when I was found. And now I am ready for adoption. WOW!! I just can’t believe how much I have changed over the past few months. I am a 2 year old very sweet and loving young Shih Tzu boy. Since I first came to Lone Star I have gained some weight. When I was found I was starving and very thin. The veterinarians were not even sure that I would live as I had lapsed into a coma. I was given fluids, antibiotics and eventually was able to take in nutritious food and supplements. What a difference in me now! I am now a strong boy and getting healthier and healthier as each day goes by. As you can see by my picture I am walking and able to enjoy my life. I had to have one of my eyes removed due to a old injury, but that does not stop me in the least. I am one happy guy!!
I love to be with people and enjoy sitting in any lap that comes along. I get along very well with everybody and I also get along great with my foster brother and sister dogs. If there were another easy-going dog in my forever home that would be fine with me. I promise I’ll share your lap!
