DROOPY – I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
Greetings!! My name is Droopy and I am a very sweet and loving little 3-4 year old Shih Tzu lad. I was VERY scared and looked VERY sad when the volunteers from Lone Star found me at one of the local animal shelters. That’s why they named me Droopy. I might have been “droopy” then, but I am definitely not “droopy” anymore!! I am in my very own foster home with my very own foster mom and dad and I LOVE all the attention that I am getting. I am one happy, lucky, little guy!
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I would make a great, loving companion to someone who wants an only pet. I get along OK with my foster brothers and sisters, but I don’t particularly like to play with them. I’m just fine with cats and I also do well with older children who know how to respect me. I do enjoy playing with my very own squeaky toys, and I love to go on walks and ride in the car with my foster mom and dad. My favorite thing is to get belly rubs from anyone who is willing to oblige!! I also like it when my foster mom or dad holds me in their arms just like a real baby. I just like to be close to my people.
I am very healthy at 17 pounds and I am house-trained to the doggie door. I also don’t mind being in my crate. In fact, if it’s a little too hectic in the house, I will go to my crate for some quiet time.
