PRINCE AND FLOWER – WE’VE BOTH BEEN ADOPTED!!!
We are Prince and Flower and we are survivors of Hurricane Rita. Our owner had to be air-lifted to the hospital right before the storm hit and we were left to fend for ourselves for a few days. Luckily, we were rescued and taken care of by Lone Star while our owner was hospitalized. We were eventually reunited with him for a while, but now we are back in foster care because our owner died. We’ve been through a lot and need to find a forever home where we will feel safe and secure. We’d like to tell you a little about ourselves.
Prince
I am a 5 year old Lhasa Apso boy and I weigh about 16 pounds. I am very sweet and good-natured. My favorite thing to do is play. I love my little toys!! I will also play with my foster brothers and sisters and even the cat!!! I particularly like to play with my sister Flower. She and I are together all the time. I also love to be petted and cuddled. There’s nothing better than to stop playing and get a cuddle from my foster mom. I enjoy sitting on her lap and getting lots of attention. I also like to go for walks and am very good on a leash. Most importantly, I am housebroken, so you won’t have to worry about me! I love my crate and consider it my little den and I sleep in there at night without any problems.
My ideal forever home would be one where my sister Flower is with me, but we would be just fine if we were adopted separately. We both need to feel safe and secure after what we’ve been through. Flower
My name is Flower and I am a 5 year old, 12 pound, Shih Tzu girl. I am very sweet and gentle, but am a little timid when I first meet new people. I look to my brother Prince to let me know that everything is OK. Once I get to know you, I will love you. I have learned that pets and cuddles are a good thing!! I consider myself to be easy-going and laid-back and I think that I am a pretty neat little lady!! I like to play with my toys and especially enjoy play time with my brother Prince. I get along well with my other foster brothers and sisters and even like cats! I am also very good on a leash and enjoy long walks with my foster mom. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I sleep in my crate at night and like it so much that I often go in there during the day for my nap. I also love to sit by the window and watch everything that goes on outside.
