BLANCA- I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
My name is Blanca and I am a 4 year old, 8 pound, Shih Tzu girl. I lived my life as a breeder’s dog and have had quite a few litters. My previous owners moved out of the house and left me to fend for myself in the backyard. Luckily a Good Samaritan neighbor saw what happened and rescued me. Now I am living in a wonderful foster home with great foster parents and lots of foster brothers and sisters. I am slowly but surely learning that life is truly good!
I am very sweet and loving and LOVE to give you big wet kisses. I cuddle with my foster mom every chance I get, and I follow her all over the house. I’m a bit wary of men right now and my foster mom thinks that I might have been treated badly by a man. I am slowly learning that the men in my new foster family won’t hurt me and that they love me too. But it’s taking me a little while to fully trust them. I am definitely improving day by day! I have finally found the good life and I want to keep it that way!!
I love to play with my foster siblings and we have a great time. My foster mom says that I have fit into the household routine very nicely. And do you know what mom says the best thing is? I am fully house-trained!!! I don’t bark that much and I also am crate trained.
I am happy, healthy and playful. I would love to find my “furever” home. My ideal home would be as an only dog, or maybe one other small dog to play with. I am still a bit timid, so large dogs and young children scare me. Cats are OK, I tend to just ignore them!!
