HABIBAH KATY – I’VE BEEN ADOPTED!!!
My name is Habibah Katy, and I am a VERY cute little Shih Tzu girl. I am 3-4 years old and I weigh about 12 pounds. My foster family calls me Klassy because I am one “Klassy” lady!! Before I came into foster care, I was a breeder dog and had many litters. My coat was in pretty bad shape when I first got here and I had to have it shaved down. Now my hair is growing and I am very pretty. Don’t you think I look great in my little outfit I wore in a parade? I think I looked just like a little princess.
I am just about the best dog there ever was. I am happy and playful, yet I can be a very quiet sweet little lap dog. I love to run and play with my foster brother, so I would love to have another playful dog in my forever home. If my foster brother is tired of playing with me, I am very content to go my own way and play with my toys, or take a long nap in the sun!! I look for the sun coming in the window so that I can take a snooze and feel the warm rays. If there isn’t a sunbeam to nap in I look for a LAP!! Actually my foster mom’s lap in the sun would be the best place for me!!! Life is definitely great and after being a breeder dog, I feel that I deserve to have a warm place and a loving family of my own. Whenever Mom and Dad have visitors I greet them with lots of kisses and am happy to have them in the house. After all, they have LAPS!!! I love to eat and am quite motivated if there happens to be a treat around. My foster mom thinks because of my energy and because I love those treats, I might be great at Agility or some other type of training. I have no idea what Agility is, but it sounds like fun!!! I also love to go on car rides with my foster family. I particularly enjoy looking out the window and seeing the world go by. I am a very healthy little girl.
