My name is Tatum and I was rescued JUST IN TIME!!! Thank you Lone Star!! I was scheduled to be euthanized and you found me! I am a 5 year old shih tzu/miniature schanuzer girl and I weigh about 20 pounds. Originally I was found as a stray and taken to the Humane Society where I spent the last two weeks. I was SO EXCITED to get out of there that I jumped right into the car and was ready to go, go, go.
I am now living in Arizona with great foster parents and foster siblings. What fun is this!!
I have a bladder infection and I need to be treated for that. I also need some time to settle in before I will be up for adoption. But, I am one sweet, good-natured girl. My new foster mom says that I am calm and take everything in stride in my new home. I did figure out pretty quickly that my foster dad is one big softie!!! When he sits down to eat I am right there with him to share his meal. Watch for me on Petfinder in the future. I’m definitely a keeper!!!

My name is Margie and I am a sweet little 2 year old Shih Tzu girl. I am new to Lone Star and am learning what my new life is all about. As long as their is a stuffed toy to cuddle with, I’m happy!!! I am heartworm positive so I have to lay low for a while and get healthy. But, I know I will be better soon and up for adoption! Watch for me!! Maybe I will be a featured Fluff of the Week someday!!!

WOOF! That’s my hello to you! My name is Boogie and I am a Shih Tzu/Norwich Terrier mix little guy. I am 21 months old and I weigh 11 pounds and I am one sweet-little-happy-fella. I am in a foster home now with six other dogs and I LOVE it!!! I used to live with a cat and this is way better as far as I am concerned. I hope to be up for adoption soon. Watch for my very own Petfinder page and also I might even be a featured Fluff of the Week sometime soon!!!

My name is Benson and I am a newcomer to Lone Star. I was turned in by my owners because I have some health issues that they could not take care of. I have cataracts and I also have some skin allergies. I know that when I get some loving care, good nutrition, and a check by the veterinarian, I will be much better and be well on the road to good health. I am also really sweet and very well-behaved. Watch for me on Petfinder sometime in the future!

My name is Sunflower and I am one lucky little 7-8 year old Lhasa Apso mix girl. The wonderful Lone Star volunteers rescued me from the local animal shelter and now I am in a great foster home with a second chance on life. I am very sweet and loving, but I have some skin issues that need to be taken care of before I get my very own Petfinder page. I have lots of foster brothers and sisters to play with and some great foster parents to take care of me for now. Watch for me in the future, I’ll be ready for my forever home soon!!

My name is Jade Planter and I am a 2 year old female black and white Shih Tzu. I was rescued from a puppy mill and I am extremely shy right now. I will need lots of love from my foster family and I will need to learn socialization skills before I can be adopted. But, watch for me! Hopefully I will have my very own Petfinder page soon!

My name is Hazel Ranger and I am a gray and white female Shih Tzu. I was found wandering the streets and I am so very glad that I am now safe at Lone Star. I am a bit shy and fearful right now, but I am calm. I know that once I realize I am safe in my foster home, I will come out of my shell. I think I will be available for adoption soon.

My name is Tatiana Barker and I am a brown and white Shih Tzu lady. I am about 8 – 10 years old and I have dry eye. I was rescued from one of the local shelters because they felt I was not adoptable due to my age. I am a shy and quiet lady who would love to find her forever home soon. I know that I will be up for adoption within no time at all. Watch for me!!!

My name is Azule Davis and I am a 2 year old female white and brown ShihTzu. I am now a very active and playful girl, but when I came to Lone Star I was sick. I was heartworm positive and needed to be treated. I have had my treatment, am heartworm free and will be available for adoption soon. Watch for me!!!
