Take a look at me. What a handsome Lhasa Apso lad I am!! My name is Magnus Harris and I am two years old, weigh about 12 pounds and have a beautiful gray and white coat. I just arrived at my foster home and I love it!! When I first got here my foster mom put me in “isolation” so she would know what I was like before I joined the group. Well, I escaped from there pretty darn quick, ran into the living room and found TOYS!!!! I was in doggy heaven and didn’t know which toy to go to first. My foster mom just laughed at me!! Greetings! My name is Sherrilyn and I am a newcomer to Lone Star. Am I ever one very lucky little girl. A Good Samaritan found me at the local animal shelter and was I a mess. I was dirty, matted and quite sad looking then. But look at me now!! I am one pretty little young Lhasa Apso girl of about 2 years. I’ve got a bit of “Lhasatude” but my foster mom is working on that. Wouldn’t you if you just went through what I did?? I’m still a little scared, but I am realizing that being a Lone Star dog is very special. Watch for me as a Fluff of the Week soon!!!

Am I cute or what? I’m a black and white Shih Tzu mix boy and am not much over 1 year old. As you can see from my picture I have the cutest little underbite and I’m smiling all the time!!! I’m a happy little guy who is ready and excited to find my forever home. If you’re looking for an adorable friend who loves to play and give kisses, I’m the fluffer for you! My name is Murdock and also am new to Lone Star. I am a 3 year old black and gray Shih Tzu mix lad. I’m blind and a little hard of hearing but don’t think that slows me down any! I can still prance around with the best of them! And I even let my foster brother Mignon play with me!! Well actually he plays and I let him jump all over me!! My foster mom is really proud of me and she says that I am her best “tail wagger”. I just get excited with all the new things in my life and I need to show everyone that I am grateful. Boscoe – Hello! My name is Boscoe and I am a 4-5 year old gray and black Lhasa Apso. I am not up for adoption yet, but I wanted to tell you that I will soon be available. I thought I was in my forever home, but my family fell on hard times and I needed to go back to Lone Star where I got to see my very first foster mom again! Now I won’t let her out of my sight! Pogo – Am I cute or what? I’m waiting for a special person to give me a belly rub and I LOVE belly rubs!!! I am a 2 – 3 year old Shih Tzu, about 10 – 11 pounds. I happen to be quite the cute little guy and I have VERY big eyes! I love to give kisses and sit in your lap! I am just a very happy little fellow and I would be great with children. Hello!! My name is Bach and I am one of the newest members of the Lone Star Shih Tzu Rescue family. I am a male Lhasa Apso man and can’t wait until I am ready for my forever home. I have to wait a bit as I am undergoing heartworm treatment right now. But, watch for me sometime in the future!! I am one lucky guy and I know that soon I will be up for adoption so that I can find my forever family.
My name is Tatum and I was rescued JUST IN TIME!!! Thank you Lone Star!! I was scheduled to be euthanized and you found me! I am a 5 year old shih tzu/miniature schanuzer girl and I weigh about 20 pounds. Originally I was found as a stray and taken to the Humane Society where I spent the last two weeks. I was SO EXCITED to get out of there that I jumped right into the car and was ready to go, go, go.
I am now living in Arizona with great foster parents and foster siblings. What fun is this!!
I have a bladder infection and I need to be treated for that. I also need some time to settle in before I will be up for adoption. But, I am one sweet, good-natured girl. My new foster mom says that I am calm and take everything in stride in my new home. I did figure out pretty quickly that my foster dad is one big softie!!! When he sits down to eat I am right there with him to share his meal. Watch for me on Petfinder in the future. I’m definitely a keeper!!!
My name is Margie and I am a sweet little 2 year old Shih Tzu girl. I am new to Lone Star and am learning what my new life is all about. As long as their is a stuffed toy to cuddle with, I’m happy!!!
