CHANTILLY WORTH – ADOPTED!! ANOTHER GREAT SAVE!

Remember Chantilly Worth?  She almost died of pneumonia just over a month ago.  This lucky girl was adopted today!  Here is the report from her foster mom, Patricia.

Tilly was very nervous on the way to meet the Daigreponts.  Since the Daigreponts had contacted me earlier this week, I had been telling Tilly that someone was interested in being her new family.  She was doubtful, but I reminded her that I was only a pitstop on the way to her awesome forever home.  However, when she laid eyes on them, it was love at first sight for all of them.  Within minutes, I was non-existent to Tilly, who had eyes only for Ken & Ann.  They, in turn, were immediately smitten. The Daigreponts drove up from Houston to meet Tilly.  We met at her son’s house in Richardson.  They came prepared: new collar, tag, harness, leash, toys, bed, crate, chewies, food/water dishes, & kibble.  They told me they use VCA in Houston, & know the medical director personally, & already have her initial visit planned. (Tilly was in the hospital here at the VCA Metroplex). By the time I left the house, Tilly was attached to Ken’s lap & seemed to be planning her reign as queen of her new domain.  She had even already begun sharing guard dog duties with her niece, Daisy, an awfully cute terrie-poo.  As I said good-bye to her, she looked at me & seemed to say, “And you are?

Please excuse me, I have my family to tend to….”  These are the kinds of stories we work for!
